In September and November 2020, the JCI Technical Committee conducted a building survey on Hashima, Nagasaki Prefecture (commonly known as Gunkanjima) (JCI: Committee for Concrete Structures in Danger, Chairman, Professor Mitsuho Iwanami, Tokyo Institute of Technology. ). This report reports on the results of the investigation of the state of deterioration of two buildings, Building Nos. 48 and 65, and examines the problems of the deterioration judgment index used in this investigation. This paper proposed a formula for calculating the residual crack width for RC column members. From experimental study for RC column members under bending and shear force, we modeled strain distribution of main reinforcement at maximum displacement and unloaded. Based on an assumption that crack width is the cumulative sum of the main reinforcement strain, the reduction of crack width in unloading is calculated from that model. The maximum residual crack width is determined by taking away that reduction from the crack width at maximum displacement. The crack width valued from this method gave close agreement with experimental result, so the calculation formula is developed by the method. - Japan Society for the Promotion of Science:Grants-in-Aid for Scientific ResearchDate (from‐to) : 2016/05 -2021/03Author : AOKI TAKAYOSHIBased on the investigation studies on historical structures in Japan and overseas, we have clarified the technologies essential for their authenticity. In particular, we constructed a 3D maintenance management system using optical measurements; Moreover, we developed a method for non-contact evaluation of the corrosion status inside RC members; Furthermore, we standardized the NDT and MDT such as drill as NDIS 3433. Upon clarification of material deterioration especially caused by salt deposition from the measurement of the environment, moisture state, and salt analysis, we proposed an effective repair method based on the exposure test and accelerated weathering test, using deterioration suppressing materials and surface protection measures. For selecting the optimum structural reinforcement procedure, we developed an earthquake risk analysis method based on economic performance evaluation considering the accumulation of damage throughout the life cycle, and presented the guidelines.
- 日本学術振興会:科学研究費助成事業Date (from‐to) : 2016/04 -2017/03Author : 青木 孝義; 湯淺 昇; 岸本 一蔵; 濱崎 仁; 丸山 一平; 高橋 典之; 松井 智哉; 張 景耀ヨーロッパには、組積造やコンクリート造、鉄筋コンクリート造の文化遺産建築が数多く残っているが、材料の経年劣化や地震(古くは1755年のリスボン地震、近年では2009年と2016年のイタリア中部地震、2011年のスペイン南部地震)などの要因により、その構造的安定性が脅かされている。 本研究は、これら文化遺産建築を保護(予防保全)することを最終目的に、イタリア、スペイン、ポルトガルの研究者と北地中海地域における文化遺産建築を対象に、1)各種非破壊・微破壊検査技術適用による材料劣化調査と構造・振動調査、2)地震被害調査および被災地域における復興調査を実施し、3)温度、ひび割れ、傾斜や振動のモニタリングにより補強途中における構造的安定性と補強後の補強効果を検証することにより、4)文化遺産建築の有効な修復・補強方法、地震によるリスクから文化遺産建築を保護する方法、について調査・研究することを目的としている。 研究課題採択後、イタリア、スペイン、ポルトガルの研究者と、北地中海地域における具体的な調査研究対象文化遺産建築の選定と、具体的な調査に向けての最終調整をE-mailで行う一方で、国内の建築材料、建築構造の研究者で、具体的な調査時期、調査方針と調査項目に関する研究打合せを実施した。また、長期的な調査方針と調査時期に関する打合せを実施した。 しかし、基盤研究(S)の交付内定があったため、本研究課題はこの段階で廃止となった。
- Japan Society for the Promotion of Science:Grants-in-Aid for Scientific ResearchDate (from‐to) : 2010/04 -2014/03Author : AOKI Takayoshi; TANIGAWA Yasuo; NAKANO Yoshiaki; YUASA Noboru; KISHIMOTO Ichizo; MARUYAMA Ippei; TAKAHASHI Noriyuki; MATSUI Tomoya; HAMASAKI Hitoshi; SAKUTA Joji; OKUDA KoichiroTo develop a definitive guideline for the evaluation and mitigation of seismic risk to heritage buildings, heritage buildings damaged in the 2009 L'Aquila earthquake in central Italy were investigated. Based on the investigation, the damage situation and necessary emergency measures were systematically categorized. The effect of strengthening work on heritage buildings by using reinforced concrete, undertaken since the 1970s, could not be verified. This finding shows that the structural health monitoring of heritage buildings should be performed not only to ensure structural stability before and during the strengthening work, but also to verify the strengthening effect after completion. In addition, based on investigations of similar heritage buildings inside and outside of Italy, integrated knowledge-based approaches were developed for the restoration, strengthening, and protection of heritage buildings from seismic risk.

It was clarified from the tests that the CES members have good seismic performance with high strength, ductility and damage control effects. The evaluation methods of the strengths, deformability and restoring force characteristic of the CES members are proposed based on the test results. Furthermore, the evaluation method for structural performance of CES buildings using the response and limit strength method is proposed.

By experimental study the relation between crack width on the surface of concrete member and degree of corrosion on steel bars, Cl-ion concentration are studied. 0.2mm more over crack width caused increasing Cl-ion concentration in the cracking surface of concrete and degree of corrosion of steel bars equipped in concrete.

This study which aim to investigate new technologies and design methods suitable for performance design of concrete structures, has following two objectives. (a) Development of reuse pre-cast concrete structural members with high self-centering force and superior energy dissipation. (b) Estimations of influence of bond characteristics of prestressing tendons on mechanical properties of prestressed concrete structures. Following main conclusions are obtained. 1) A separable joint between pre-cast concrete brocks are developed newly. Mechanical characteristics of the joint with various assembling stress, strength of joint materials, depth of joints and so on were investigated through uni-shear test. The test results show that the joint has very useful separability and practical shear strength. 2) Cyclic reversal loading tests on prestressed concrete beams consisted of concrete blocks and assembled by unbond prestressing tendons were carried out. Test results reveal that the beam can get superior energy dissipation by the use of additional low strength reinforcing bars attached on the beam sides as a damper device and shows reusability of concrete blocks owing to only slight damages observed in the first concrete block adjacent to column stab, even though under severe deflection of the beam. 3) Analytical studies on equivalent damping factor of load-deformation relations of prestressed concrete beams subjected to cyclic reversal load were conducted using divided element method. From results of the analysis considering factors such as bond characteristics, amount and location of prestressing tendons in the beam sections, an equation to estimate equivalent damping factor which predicts experimental results with practical accuracy are derived.

Cracks occurring in RC wall can be controlled by a reduction of drying shrinkage, an increase of the reinforcing steel and the control joint that induces the cracking artificially by installing a section loss part in RC wall. However, because there is no definite method for the estimation of cracking, the quantitative design for crack control in RC wall is impassible as far. Accordingly, to estimate drying shrinkage cracking behavior(crack width, number of crack) in RC wall, an improved analytical method on the basis of the bond analysis was proposed, and the validity of the analysis method was confirmed from the uniaxial restrained shrinkage cracking test(2006) and the small-scale RC wall model test(2007). Simple estimation equations of the crack width and the number of crack based on the bond analysis were proposed. According to these equations, it is possible to control cracking quantitatively in RC wall by reduction of drying shrinkage, reinforcing steel and control joint.
- 日本学術振興会:科学研究費助成事業Date (from‐to) : 2002 -2003Author : 岸本 一蔵(概要)・地震時における鉄筋コンクリート(以下RC)柱部材の損傷低減および、部材損傷領域の変形機構解明を目的として、魚形断面のRC柱部材に対し曲げせん断実験を行った。RC柱部材両端部に重度の横拘束補強(D6@17mm:補強位置については実験パラメータ)を施すことにより、部材の損傷領域を限定することの可能性について調べ、横拘束補強筋の配置と部材変形量と損傷の程度、変形機構との関係を検討した。新たな計測方法の試みとして、破壊の進展状況を高性能デジタルカメラにより撮影・計測した。 (経過・結果)平成14、15年年度に各6体の載荷実験を行った。平成14年度は、損傷予定領域の大きさ(重度の横拘束補強筋の配筋位置により決定される)を主パラメータ(100mm、150mm区間)とした(軸力比0.3)。その結果、(1)重度の横補強は、せん断ひび割れの進展を抑制する点では効果があるが、コンクリートを拘束することによる塑性ヒンジ発生位置を限定させる点においては効果がないこと、(2)重度の横補強筋の配置の有無にかかわらず、引張側に発生する主たるひび割れ本数は同じ(3本)であり、ヒンジ部の変形の5割以上がスタブ極近傍に発生するひび割れに起因する。事を明らかにした。平成15年度は、横補強筋の影響がより強く表れる高軸力の場合(軸力比0.5)の実験を行った。また重度の横補強筋の効果を明確に判定するため、ヒンジ発生予定領域の両側に配置される重度の横拘束補強筋の片側を除いた試験体についても実験した。その結果、(1)重度の横拘束補強筋の配置は、配置位置によらず部材変形角(R)1/50以下での部材曲げ挙動に影響を与えない。一方、R=1/50を超える終局域では、柱中央部寄り、およびスタブ側位置の両方に配置する場合にのみ、部材のスプリット、およびせん断ずれを防止し、靭性を向上させる効果がある。ことを明らかにした。

- Japan Society for the Promotion of Science:Grants-in-Aid for Scientific ResearchDate (from‐to) : 1999 -2000Author : NAKATSUKA Tadashi; KISHIMOTO Ichizou; ARAKI HideoFor predicting load-deformation relations of pre-stressed concrete flexural members, stress-strain relations of pre-stressing (PC) steels under cyclic loading, stress-strain characteristics of confined concrete subjected to shear force and flexural moment, and effects of bond between grout and PC steel on flexural performance of PC flexural members are investigated. Following main conclusions are obtained. 1) The cyclic stress-strain models for PC steels using Menegotto-Pinto expression with variable of strain are proposed. The models estimate satisfactorily hysteretic curve of PC strand, stretched and low temperature annealed (blueing) PC bars and induction heating quenched PC bars of different strength and size under various type of cyclic loading, such as gradual increase strain cyclic loadings, random cyclic loadings etc.. 2) Uni-axial stress-strain characteristics of confined concrete subjected to constant shear force show smaller tangent modulus, smaller compressive strength and smaller strain at the strength, in the case of higher shear force level. Shear strain of confined concrete under constant shear force increase according to axial stress increment in the case of high compression force level. 3) The equations to evaluate F value ( strain compatibility factor) for calculating accurately ultimate flexural strength of pre-stressed concrete members are proposed analytically. The F values are investigated with consideration of bond-slip characteristics between pre-stressing steel and grout, on block elements obtained by dividing the members along longitudinal direction. Employed parameters in the analysis are shape and diameter of pre-stressing steel, strength of grout and so on.

- Japan Society for the Promotion of Science:Grants-in-Aid for Scientific ResearchDate (from‐to) : 1996 -1997Author : FUJII Shigeru; SATO Yuichi; KISHIMOTO Ichizo; KONDO GoroThe following findings were obtained through the ersearch : (1)Shear strength of various types of joints Shear strengths of interior column-, exterior column-beam joints, T-shaped joints and knee joints were investigated experimenbtally. The strength ratio for these joints with appropriate anchorage details are 1 : 0.7 : 0.7 : 0.4 respectively. Especially for knee joints, the joint capacity is strongly dependent on the bar anchorage details and loading directions. (2)Joint shear capacity under two directional loadings Failure interaction curve of corner column-beam joints under bi-directional loadings can be modeled as a circle. Bi-directional loading history degrades the flexural capacity of the column due to the bond deterioration in corner longitudinal column bars. (3)Statistical analysis of shear strength and ductility in interior column-beam sub-assemblage Collecting a total of 332 data of previous joint shear experiments, the effects of several parameters on joint shear strength were analyzed. joint shear strength increases proportionally to sigma_B (sigma_B : concrete compressive strength). Ductillity factor is governed by the ratio of joint shear strength to the joint shear input corresponding to the beam flexural strength. The empirical equation was derived considering the effect of joint shear reinforcement and material strength. (4)Seismic response of frame structures with various hysterisis characteristics. Conducting the dynamic analysis for a identified single-mass model with various dumping characteristics, the effect of loss of energy dissipating capacity due to the bond-slip behavior and the degradation of joint shear resistance on the whole frame deformation characteristics was discussed. The future research needs on the hysterisis model and on the interaction between seismic power and allowable joint degradation were pointed out. (5)Experimental study on the improvement of the joint capacity in high strength RC frames by hinge-relocation method Arranging the additional beam longitudinal bars, which are passing through the joint, made the critical sections apart from column faces and kept joint elastic. Hinge relocation method is effective way to improve the joint capacities and to control the bond deterioration.
- 日本学術振興会:科学研究費助成事業Date (from‐to) : 1996 -1996Author : 岸本 一蔵現行設計法に準拠して設計されたPC骨組構造について、柱・梁断面の曲げ耐力に着目した検討を行い、同構造の基本的な特性について明かにしようとした。具体的には、PC骨組モデルを設計ルート3aに基づき試設計し、(1)設計用応力(モーメント)に占める長期、不静定、地震時の各応力の割合を調べ、不静定応力、長期荷重時応力が断面決定にどの程度影響しているかを調べ、(2)設計された部材の終局曲げ耐力が、設計用応力に対しどの程度の余裕が存在するかを調べ、そのデータを基にPC骨組構造の崩壊機構に対する考察を行った。 上記(1)の検討結果より、スパン長が大きい建物程、設計用応力に占める長期荷重による応力の影響は大きくなり、15mのスパン長の建物では、同応力は地震荷重による応力の25%程度であるのに対し、25mのスパン長の建物では50〜100%程度と非常に大きくなるということ、また不静定応力の値は、長期荷重による応力の30〜70%程度の値であることを定量的に示した。 (2)の検討結果から、PC構造の長期荷重が大きいという特徴に起因して、層方向に耐力分布を考えた場合、耐力の低い層(弱層)が存在することを明らかにした。弱層の位置は、スパン長が大きい建物では下層へ移動し、静的漸増荷重解析では、弱層での変形量は他の層に比べて著しいことを示した。
- 終局強度設計法による試設計PCフレーム構造の耐震性能についてその他の研究制度Date (from‐to) : 1995
- 日本学術振興会:科学研究費助成事業Date (from‐to) : 1993 -1993Author : 岸本 一蔵本研究の対象としたフレーム構造形式は、プレストレストコンクリート(PC)フレーム構造体とした。これは、PCフレーム構造体において、RC構造の終局強度型設計法として提案されている梁崩壊による全体崩壊型の形成を保証することが困難な場合が多く、既往の研究の数も少ないことによる。 フレームの設計は、日本建築学会より示された『保有水平耐力に基づいたPC建物の終局強度型耐震設計』で提案されている『一般靱性骨組み建物』の設計法(この設計法で設計された建物がどの様な耐震性能を有しているかについては殆ど研究がなされていない)に準拠し、実務的に試設計を行った。これにより、解析的研究が陥りやすい"悲現実的な条件設定の危惧"を払拭できたものと考えている。 同試設計建物を静的、動的に解析することにより、『一般靱性骨組み建物』の設計法が有する様々な特徴を確認することが出来た。大まかな結論としては、同設計法が提案するように設計用ベースシア係数を(全体崩壊機構を形成する建物よりも)大きく設定するよりも、柱の耐力を割ります形で設計を行う方がよりよい設計となることが確認できた。 本研究は未だ始まったばかりであり、研究を進めるにつれて多くの問題点が明らかになってきている。よって当初予定してたスケジュールでは研究は進んでいないが、非常に興味深い研究であり、現在勢力的に研究を進行している。
