This paper considers one hundred years of literature and politics in socialist China from the view of a literary family composed of Wang Xiaoping(1919-2003), Ru Zhijuan(1925-1997), and Wang Anyi(1954-). After the Tiananmen Square Incident(1989), Wang Anyi, a writer of the Intellectual Youth Generation, expressed a mixture of disappointment and respect toward her literary parents who belong to the revolutionary generation. However, when we reconsider the literary works of Wang Xiaoping and Ru Zhijuan, the writers who were the bearers of the “Mao’s literary style” in the founding period of People's Republic of China, we can understand the purity and sincerity of the persons, who tried to live up with the socialist ideals throughout their lives. Wang Anyi has understood the spiritual heritage of the older generation which she once made a break with, and has tried to inherit in her struggles. This paper focuses on the trilogy of Autobiographical novels of Wang Xiaoping (1919-2007) who is a Chinese writer from British Malaya. His life and thought torn apart between People's Republic of China and Singapore in 1940s-1980s were treated in these novels. He has not been well known for many years despite having family members who are famous writers Ru Zhijuan and Wang Anyi. Accordingly, this paper studies the spiritual history of Wang Xiaoping as writer and director from an aspect of the military officer of People's Republic of China. "Changhenge" was written by Wang Anyi in 1995 as an urban novel of Shanghai when rapid change occurred in Shanghai accompanied with economic growth of China. The text took up a life of a woman and expressed the Wang Anyi's primitive image of Shanghai which had been lost with urbanization. The death of heroine who is a symbol of "Old Shanghai" is discussed as an ironical opinion against the current images of "Old Shanghai" in 1990's. In 1990s, Wang Anyi was in identity crisis as a writer because Tiananmen Square protests shattered her world view she had believed. In 1993, she gave a literature lecture at Fudan University and stated that Chinese writer wasn't a traditional intellectual who enlightened the people, but a mere expert on writing novels as Xinling Shijie today. Therefore, this paper is written from a point of view that the purpose of her literary lecture is re-establishment of her identity as a writer. At the same time, it is also pointed out the concept of Xinling Shijie which describes her ideal novel contains many problems. One of the problems is that she hasn't proved how the new concept exists today. In the history of Chinese contemporary literature, Wang Anyi has been regarded as a writer who expressed a thought of Xungen in Xiaobaozhuang. However, in the previous analyses, it was not examined how discussion of Xungen exerted an influence on her works. Therefore, this paper is written from the point of view that she constructed her original aspect of Xungen, which is a quest for the roots of blood in her own life, including the stuff of human beings and the essence of Chinese culture. At the same time, it is also pointed out that her other works during 1980's also picked up above theme. Xungen was continued to be a significant theme in her works during 1990's, when the enthusiasm to Xungen Literature was past over.

- Japan Society for the Promotion of Science：Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research Grant-in-Aid for Early-Career ScientistsDate (from‐to) : 2020/04 -2023/03Author : 松村 志乃本研究は1920‐40年代のシンガポール・マラヤ華人の文学者群像を検討するものである。具体的には、中国の「五四」文学に影響を受け、当時若手文学者として活躍した、「馬華文学（マラヤ華文文学）」黎明期の文学者たちの作家論を構築し、その文学と思想を総合的に考察することを目的としている。なお本研究は、申請者が従来行ってきた中華人民共和国以降の文学（中国当代文学）研究という定点に立ったうえで、シンガポール・マラヤの華人文学を検討することで、国民国家という枠組みを超えた中国語圏文学へ視野を広げることをめざしている。本年度は主に、中国当代文学研究の視野に立ちながら、馬華文学を視野に入れた研究を行うという意味において成果があった。 まず英領マラヤ出身の文学者王嘯平に関する報告を、日本当代文学研究会5月例会で行った。年度末にはその報告の内容を踏まえ、論文「祖国という異郷に生きる――マラヤ華人王嘯平の自伝小説を読む」を近畿大学国際学部紀要『Journal of International Studies』に寄稿したところである（未刊行）。 10月には日本現代中国学会第71回全国学術大会の共通論題「建党 100 年と「社会主義」中国のゆくえ」の文学分野のパネリストとして、「王一家の百年 王嘯平、茹志鵑、王安憶から見た 『社会主義』中国」と題した報告を行った。これは中国当代文学研究の知見に、王嘯平という英領マラヤ出身の文学者の研究を加え、文学者家族百年を検討したもので、文学の視点から社会主義中国を検討するという意味において、好評を得た。 2022年1月には神戸市外国語大学で行われた「文学／文脈／声の痕跡 20世紀東アジアにおける言説の輻輳性」に、主催者のひとりとして参加し、池田智恵氏の報告「表層の物語、深層の「真情」――『天涯客』から『山河令』へ」に対するコメンテーターとして発言した。
