We give a Hamiltonian system which is nonintegrable in a domain containing two singular points and that is integrable in some neighborhood of a singular point. This article concerns with the first Painleve hierarchy, i.e. the 2n-th order analogues of the first Painleve equation. Several higher order analogues of the first Painleve equation are proposed by several authors however, we investigate one derived from the KdV hierarchy by studying singularity manifold. This article concerns with the second Painleve hierarchy, i.e., the 2nth order analogues of the second Painleve equation. Though several higher order analogues of the second Painleve equation are proposed by several authors, we investigate one derived from the KdV hierarchy by similarity reduction, and give the lower estimate of the growth order of transcendental meromorphic solutions to the second Painleve hierarchy with an integer parameter. Moreover, the first lemma in Appendix supplements an incompleteness of Li and He ["On analytic properties of higher analogs of the second Painleve equation," J. Math. Phys. 43, 1106-1115 (2002)] and Li ["Some properties of the solutions of higher analogue of the Painleve equation," ActaMath. Appl. Sin. 22, 59-64 (2006)]. We show that there exists a 2-dimensional system of LODEs s.t. (i) by eliminating an entry, the system reduces to one of the 3 LODEs; (ii) the IMD of the system is equivalent to the IMD of one of the 3 LODEs with a certain condition; (iii) the system is obtained from a linearization of the sixth Painleve equation by use of a gauge transformation.
