[査読有り] In this paper, we describe the educational effects with the mathematics instruction based on the model corecurriculum organized by the Institute of National Colleges of Technology. In recent years, there is a marked decline inthe students' mathematics ability and learning motivation. The problem has a serious influence on the engineeringeducation in Anan National College of Technology. The model core curriculum serves as an important guiding principleof mathematics education. The educational effects are evaluated with the mathematics achievement test. The test resultsshow that the current mathematics instruction based on the model core curriculum is appropriate.
