    In a large-scale system like building air-conditioning system, measured time-series data is observed from many kinds of sensors. It is difficult to detect the fault by the administrators because only the limited experts can diagnose the unusual system. If we can extract characteristic changes of measured time-series data, we can calculate the evaluation value and grasp the sign of target fault condition. This paper proposes the evaluation method of fault condition with decision rule of rough set in building air-conditioning system. First, the proposal method extracts outline of target measured time-series data, and build the data set with qualitative values, which indicate the state of target system. Next, this method constructs the decision rule of a rough set with existence probability by comparison between normal and fault conditions. Finally, this method calculates evaluation value every time, based on the existence probability of each decision rules. Through practical experiments, it is confirmed that the proposal method can evaluate fault conditions called hunting, which occurs in supply air temp, water volume, and air volume.

    Conditional search system in employment supporting website is well used in Japan, if college or university students search place of employment. However, this system is not possible to respond flexibly to user's undefined preference, and recommends only a few place of employment with strict conditions setup. This paper proposes Development of the recommendation system of Place of Employment for Students with Decision rules in Rough Set using the condition relaxation based on user's aptitude. First, this proposal system changes the attribute value of target place of employment into qualitative values. Next the system searches the place of employment which corresponds with the target user's absolute conditions. When the number of search is not enough, the system eases conditions and searches additional places of employment, which are estimated by standardization Euclid distance, and which are selected by aptitude judgment. Finally, this system extracts decision rules of rough set based on the samples’ judgement, and evaluates and shows places of employment, which are sorted in the descending order of the evaluation value. Through practical experiment, the proposal system recommended Place of Employment for Students more effectively than the usual Condition search.

    The analytic hierarchy process (AHP) is an effective method for product selection support because it evaluates alternatives based on the total weight, which is a quantitative value. The total weight is obtained by multiplying the ratio of each evaluation criterion for the target user and the weights of alternatives in each evaluation criterion. The determination of weights in the qualitative evaluation criterion is difficult because of the necessity to compare the questionnaire results of all alternatives. This paper proposes Decision Support System for Product Selection based on AHP, using the decision rule of Rough Set for Qualitative Evaluation. The proposed system makes decision rules based on the target user’s judgement of “Good” or “Bad” on several samples in the qualitative evaluation criterion. Decision rules have a qualitative and quantitative evaluation value for each attribute, and the system calculates the weight of the AHP through normalization of these evaluation values. The user can know the results easily, because the evaluation method of alternative samples in the proposed system is the same as that of correspondence with the shop assistant in an actual store. Based on two experiments, we confirm that the setup of attributes for decision rules of rough sets is one of the most important elements of the proposed system.

Thus, a new method is required, which can detect faults from measured data using computers automatically. This paper proposes the method of fault detection with rough set based on qualitative model of measured time-series data in building air- conditioning system. First, the proposal method converts target measured time-series data into data set based on target qualitative model. Next, this method constructs the decision rule of a rough set by comparison of the data set for every block. Finally, this method detects fault through comparison of evaluation values. Through practical experiments, it is confirmed that the proposal method can detect faults without expert knowledge in a building air-conditioning system.

    AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) is an effective method for product recommendation, because each evaluation criteria are evaluated for target objective, and each alternative are evaluated for each evaluation criteria. This method recommends alternatives to the user according to the total degrees of weight, which is calculated from these two kinds of evaluation values. The determination of weight is hard work, because of many evaluations. This paper proposes a product recommendation system with AHP according to Normalization allocation and Hough conversion in order to evaluate alternatives. Normalization allocation can calculate automatically the evaluation value of the alternatives for every criterion. Hough conversion can extract the number of straight line elements from the target image. Through the experiment, it is confirm that the proposal system can recommend alternatives as well as the conventional system.

    Many new college or university students use the housing conditional search system for a leasehold house on Web recently. There is a recommendation system for a leasehold house for students with conditional search and decision rule in rough set. This system performs conditional search using housing information, and evaluate desirable houses by two kinds of decision rule in rough set. However, the users cannot sufficiently express their preference, and have a load of judgement about many specimen houses which is prepared in advance, in order to grasps the target user preference. This paper presents the recommendation system in rough set for a leasehold house for students based on three step of target user’s evaluation. This system grasps the target user preference based on the rules which correspond to three steps of judgement “Very Good”, “Good” and “Bad”. These judgments for random samples about houses can make the target user's load small. Through the experiment, it is confirm that the system has the same degree of satisfaction as the usual system, and the load of the user in the system is less than the one in usual system.

However, this method does not reflect target user's preference, and the result does not satisfy the user in many cases. This paper proposes a decision support method with AHP according to similar preference. The proposal method searches the set of alternatives evaluation by others, which is nearest to evaluation by target user in the evaluation distance between alternatives. Evaluation distance is calculated using the value of an evaluation level. The shorter distance the set of alternatives is, the more appropriate alternatives user finds in this method. In practical experiment, the proposal method recommended more satisfied alternatives than the usual method, in which the evaluation value of alternatives is the average value among other evaluators. However, the users have a heavy load of judgement about many specimen houses which is prepared in advance, in order to grasps the target user preference.  This paper presents the recommendation system in rough set for a leasehold house for students based on two kinds of target users preference. This system grasps the target user preference based on two kinds of rules which correspond to two kinds of judgement "good" and "bad". These judgments for selected sample about houses can make the target users load small. Through the experiment, it is confirm that the system has the same degree of satisfaction as the usual system, and the load of the user in the system is less than the one in usual system.

    The employer needs to determine a work shift table, when the store employs many part-timers. The shift table is the quota table of the employees who work at the store in a certain period. In determining a target work shift table, it is desirable to take in all part-timer's requests and to make total part-timer's wages low as much as possible. However, it is difficult to determine the shift table because of many variables, which number is the product of the service shifts and the part-timers, and the part-timer's requests are qualitatively expressed. This paper presents decision support system for the work shift table according to the requests and wages for part-timers. First of all, this system changes the qualitative values of a part-timer's requests into the quantitative values. Next, the ideal total value of requests is calculated from the shift table created by integer programming with branch-and-bound method. The ideal total value of wages is calculated through the same method. Finally, the candidates of the shift table according to the situation are created by the weighting coefficient method based on two kinds of ideal total value, request table, wage table, and restrictions. Results of an experiment showed the validity of the proposed system.

For this reasons, a new method is required, which can detect the fault from the measured data using a computer automatically. This paper proposes the method of fault detection based on information extraction from measured time-series data in a building air-conditioning system. Fault in building air conditioning system make data generate condition "hunching", which consists of repetition of rises and descents. The proposal method converts target measured time-series data into frequency components in order to extract condition "hunching", and detect fault by Discriminant Analysis. Through practical experiments, it is confirmed that the proposal method can detect all faults as well as fault diagnosis using expert knowledge in a building air-conditioning system.

    Many new college or university students use the housing conditional search system for a leasehold house on Web recently. This system is difficult to deal with unclear request which has a relation of a trade-off. Reducts rule in rough set can extract the house according to the request. However, creating the rules gives the user a great load about evaluation, and the user may be unable to obtain clear result. This is because rough set is a concept which treats uncertainly This paper presents the recommendation system for a leasehold house for students with conditional search and reducts rule in rough set. This system performs conditional search using housing information, and evaluate desirable houses by reducts rule in rough set. Through the experiment, it is confirm that the system can recommend houses which the user satisfied. © 2013 The Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan.

    In a sales promotion task, wholesaler prepares and presents the display proposal for commodities in order to negotiate with retailer's buyers what commodities they should sell. For automating the sales promotion tasks, the proposal has to be constructed according to the target retailer's buyer. However, it is difficult to construct the proposal suitable for the target retail store because of too much combination of commodities. This paper proposes a construction method by Genetic algorithm (GA). The proposed method represents initial display proposals for commodities with genes, improve ones with the evaluation value by GA, and rearrange one with the highest evaluation value according to the classification of commodity. Through practical experiment, we can confirm that display proposal by the proposed method is similar with the one constructed by a wholesaler. © 2012 The Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan.

For this reasons, the new method is required, which can detect the fault from the measured data using a computer automatically. Kinki University This paper proposes how to extract feature pattern from measured time-series data using a learned neural network, and how to detect the fault with a knowledge expression model. The learned neural network can extract a feature pattern by calculating the weight of the neuron in output layer. The knowledge expression model can be constructed with the result of case analysis and the criteria. The result of the fault can be detected by the condition of the model, which is represented by the feature pattern. Through practical experiments, it is confirmed that the proposed method is effective to detect the fault of air conditioning system. © 2010 The Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan.

    近年のインターネットの急速な普及に伴って、電子的に処理を行いコスト削減や取引スピードの向上を図ることができる電子商取引へのニーズが高まってきている。
    本稿では企業・消費者間電子商取引を対象に、相対的な評価尺度を持ち、評価項目を定量的に扱えるAHPを取り入れたEC-AHPを提案した。また提案方法の有効性を確認するために、販売システムを構築し、実証実験を行った。

    Before practicing a sales promotion system, the technique to make an order recommendation goods proposal in every purchase enterprise by the customization should be necessary. It is proposed how to customize a goods proposal in every purchase enterprise by this research to cope with various needs. ASOS (Automatic Select Order System : order goods automatic proposal preparation system) is developed as a system that realizes a proposal technique by this research. And, it is predicted how many profits can be earned when the goods proposal made to confirm the validity of the proposal technique by using this system is adopted on the store side.

    In the current rapidly changing business environment, companies need to be efficient and agile to survive and thrive. For the meanwhile, systems integration technology is getting more complicated, and middleware types are beginning blur for decades.     The development of the fault detection and diagnosis (FDD) system of air-conditioning systems has started as one of IEA-Annex 25 activities. Recently, FDD-WG of the Society of Heating, Air-Conditioning and Sanitary Engineers of Japan and IEA-Annex 34 are holding the development of the FDD system. The stochastic qualitative reasoning (SQR) provides a modelling method of human qualitative thinking process based on the instrumentation diagram and the control information of air-conditioning systems. In this paper, the simulation process of real fault data using the SQR method is reported. In the near future, the SQR will implement the automatic method of fault detection to the computer applications.

    Qualitative reasoning is one of the powerful methods for the fault diagnosis of the complicated systems. The stochastic qualitative reasoning method, one of qualitative reasoning methods, has proposed. However, it is hard to construct an appropriate stochastic qualitative model for a target system because of a lot of stochastic variables in this one.
    Toward the construction of a stochastic qualitative model automatically, parameter expression for them are proposed in this paper. All propagation rules and functions are represented with some parameters to construct a model easily. In this method, the variable elements of the model can be reduced extremely.
    From application to some air conditioning system models, the effectiveness for the model generation is confirmed. As a result of this, the agreement rate, which which indicates how much the inference by the model agrees with the series of the measurement data, is smoothly changes according to the parameters, and the maximum value is as high as the one for the conventional modeling.

    Qualitative reasoning is one of the powerful methods for the fault diagnosis of the complicated systems. The stochastic qualitative reasoning method, one of qualitative reasoning methods, has proposed. However, it is hard to apply this method to large scale systems because of the enormous generation of behavior patterns.
    Efficient qualitative reasoning is proposed in this paper. In this method, the minimum existence probability of the generating behavior patterns is estimated by the Monte-Carlo method. The minimum existence probability is used to depress the number of generating behavior patterns. In addition, the improbable behavior patterns in the future are pruned off by future real measured values patterns. This method can be applied to the diagnosis for the large scale systems.

    近年、製品が製造されてから廃棄されるまでの過程である製品ライフサイクルについて、情報システムの整備が進められている。現在、回収過程の一元管理を実現する技術として、電波を用いた固体認識技術であるRadio Frequency IDentification (RF-IDタグ)が注目されている。本研究では、RF-IDタグを利用した製品ライフサイクルにおいて、知識情報処理を用いて効率的な製品の流れを実現することを研究の目的とする。 製品ライフサイクルのうち、開発、調達、製造、配送、販売といった一連の業務のつながりであるサプライチェーンは、プロセス全体の流れを把握することが困難である。今年度の研究ではサプライチェーンにおいて業務の流れを複数設定し、それらを相対的に評価するシミュレーションシステムを開発した。このシステムから提供される情報を利用する方法により、利用者の目的に応じたサプライチェーンの構築が可能となる。 また製品ライフサイクルのうち、利用、回収、処理、再利用といった一連の製品回収業務の流れについて、配送方針や回収業者・処理業者の業者数を設定した上で、配送量や処理量といった条件を様々に変化させて評価を行なうシステムを構築した。このシステムにより、RF-IDタグ情報を利用する方法によってあらゆる状況において低コスト・低環境負荷の製品回収業務が実現できることが確認できた。 さらに製品ライフサイクルにおいて必須となる企業情報システムの連携について、それらを支えるアーキテクチャと連携技術の分析を行った。その結果、システム連携は4つのタイプに分類され、必要となる技術やアーキテクチャはタイプごとに異なることが判明した。
